Our Commitment

Plan Your Vegas is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards to make this site usable by the widest possible audience.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines helps make the web more user friendly for everyone.

We have taken the following steps to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA:

• Skip navigation links so keyboard users can bypass repetitive content
• Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements
• ARIA landmark roles (main, nav) to support screen readers
• All form inputs are labelled and support browser autocomplete
• Images carry descriptive alternative text
• Star ratings include accessible text equivalents (e.g. "5 out of 5 stars")
• Color contrast meets or exceeds the 4.5:1 ratio for normal text and 3:1 for UI components
• Animations respect the prefers-reduced-motion system preference
• Moving content (scrolling banners) can be paused by the user
• Modal dialogs trap focus and return focus to the triggering element on close
• Dynamic status messages are announced to screen readers via ARIA live regions

Known Limitations

While we strive for full WCAG 2.2 Level AA compliance, some third-party content — including embedded booking widgets and advertising units — may not fully meet these standards. We work with our partners to improve this over time.
